Mimurotoji Temple (Hydrangea Garden)

The temple halls of “Mimurotoji” temple stand halfway up the mountain. The hydrangea garden of the temple spreads out from the hillside to the foot of the mountain.

Speaking of the hydrangea, I imagined that small flowers gather to form a ball shape about the size of a child’s head, and the color changes from blue to pink. However, there were various hydrangeas having various shapes and various colors in this hydrangea garden, like roses. Tress such as Japanese cedars also grow and the hydrangeas were closely planted among the trees.

A heart-shaped hydrangea. If you find it, you will have good fortune.

We fully enjoyed the garden.

There are several stores selling tea in the shopping district near the Uji Station of the JR line.

The shopping district also has old buildings, and produced a nostalgic, pleasant feeling.
